OPPO A38 Present in Indonesia, Most Affordable with 33W SuperVOOC & 50MP Camera

News– After first being introduced in the United Arab Emirates, OPPO Indonesia finally caught up and decided to take part in presenting a new Rp. 2 million smartphone option. Having the name OPPO A38, of course this is the newest entry-class smartphone from the vendor from China. Bring a number of attractive advantages.

Apart from the Reno10 Series 5G which is also relatively new, OPPO is quite routine in updating the OPPO A Series line. This is natural, considering that entry-level smartphones have greater potential to become the best-selling ones, because people’s purchasing power can of course be greater. OPPO A38 also comes with attractive promos during its first release.

Through this latest OPPO smartphone series, at least five superior features are promised. Starting from aspects of design, screen, camera, charging, to guarantees that the device will run smoothly for the next few years—a point that is arguably more important than specifications on paper alone.

OPPO A38 Speaker Supports Ultra Volume 300%

In appearance, the OPPO A38 design looks very identical to some of its siblings that were released earlier, namely OPPO A58 & OPPO A78. On the back surface, OPPO embeds a special OPPO Glow coloring technique which makes it shiny and free from fingerprints and scratches. Comes in two color options, namely Glowing Gold and Glowing Black.

Having a thickness of 8.6mm and a weight of around 190 grams, the physical design of the OPPO A38 has also been tested, successfully passing through a series of internal tests, including testing the power button up to 500,000 presses. This affordable OPPO smartphone also carries IP54 certification, automatically making it resistant from dust to splashes of water. Provides a more secure feeling especially when used outdoors a lot.

This stylish device is equipped with a fairly wide screen, reaching 6.58 inches and carrying a “90Hz Sunlight Display”. Using an IPS panel type, the OPPO A38 screen can light up brightly up to 720 nits, brighter than most smartphones in its class. Not only that, it supports 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, and is made 14.3% more power efficient.

The screen design is fairly simple, because it doesn’t use a punch-hole camera yet, aka it’s still a waterdrop notch type. Apart from the screen, OPPO A38 carries a speaker setup with 300% Ultra-Volume mode. There is no word yet whether the speaker setup is stereo or mono.

Run a Legacy MediaTek Chipset

Another advantage lies in charging technology, where the OPPO A38 battery can be filled more quickly through 33W SuperVOOC technology, which was previously available in more expensive variants. Just charge for 30 minutes to reach more than 50%. Even in just 15 minutes, it is claimed to be able to play videos for more than 5 hours. With a charger adapter which is included in the sales package of course.

In addition to the 5MP camera on the front, the OPPO A38 camera on the back is equipped with a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Maximum video recording supports up to 1080p 30fps, while other photo modes include AI Portrait Retouching and Portrait Bokeh. How about the performance? It uses an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chip with 4GB RAM (+4GB extended RAM), and 128GB internal storage.

Even though the chipset is quite old school, OPPO dares to guarantee the smooth running of the device for up to 36 months of use. The price for OPPO A38 is Rp. 2.099 million, it is available through the OPPO Online Store. Exclusive promos are available with payments starting from IDR 349 thousand per month, for 0% installments for 6 months via partners such as Kredivo, Indodana and Akulaku Paylater.
