Rumors regarding the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 are still circulating. For example, there were recent reports that the upcoming gaming console was shown to a select group of press at Gamescom 2023.

However, at that time there were those who said that this was only a conjecture. Now, the leak has been confirmed. In addition, not only Nintendo Switch 2 was shown, but also a special version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild which was released in 2017.

Eurogamers reports that the developer presentation for the Nintendo Switch 2 took place at Gamescom 2023. The partners were shown a tech demo of how well the system is designed to run games.

Reporting from Gizmochina (8/9), one of the demos was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a launch title for the Nintendo Switch. The 2017 version of the game has been very successful and runs at 60 FPS on the console. It’s unclear why Nintendo decided to remake this game.

The Switch 2 demo is an improved version of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, running at higher quality than the original Switch. This suggests that the Switch 2 will be much more powerful than its predecessor. Many people thought that this tech demo was the remastered version of Breath of the Wild that came with the Switch 2.

However, it’s important to remember that this is just a tech demo, and there’s no indication that the game will be re-released. The real deal is that the Switch 2 is ready to play games, which suggests that an announcement for the console is imminent. On the other hand, Nintendo has not publicly discussed plans for a successor to the Switch, although the new console is expected to launch in 2024.
