How to Play PS2 on a Laptop With PCSX2

Tech – PS2 was a gaming console that was very popular in the 2000s because it had many interesting and fun games to play.

Download & Install PCSX2

You just have to go to the PCSX website and download the version you want.

  • Stable Version = 32Bit
  • Nighly Version = 64Bit

For example, we will download Nighly 64Bit – AVX2 Qt because this one already uses the latest GUI.

After downloading, just extract the file and immediately run PCSX2.

After downloading, immediately extract the BIOS to the bios folder in the PCSX2 folder.

Then go back to PCSX2 and select refresh list, then the BIOS will appear.

To play games on PCSX2 you can use a keyboard or gamepad.

If using a gamepad, please install the gamepad then select Settings and Controller

To add a game library, just select Add Game Directory and please select the folder where you save the PS2 games that you have.

After adding the Game library, the cover will not appear automatically, you can set it manually by right clicking on the game and selecting Set Cover Image.

Or you can also set the cover automatically by selecting Tools and selecting Cover Downloader.

Next, enter the following URL:${serial}.jpg” and select Start

Then the game covers in your library will be downloaded automatically.

And to play the game, just double click on the game you want to play
